It's shocking to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't engage in activities, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a team and support their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is detrimental to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels tight. Maybe my head is too big. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

This Isn't My Old School

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe click here because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that sticks with me in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I found my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The realm doesn't accept that I ooze a different color. They stare with fear as I show the truth of my existence. My blood is a sign of {somethingdifferent that they can't imagine. They label me as alien, but I am simply different.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and participating in lame competitions. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
